program won't launch

I just installed the program, but when I checked "Launch MIST" and clicked finish, a window popped up saying "Windows cannot find 'javaw'.  Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.  The same thing happens when I try to launch the program from my start menu.  What should I do?
