I'm using MIST 3.2.2 with TntMPD 3.0 r39 on Windows 7 Home Edition 64 bit. Previously MIST has worked fine for me, but now when I run it, I get the following message:

'MIST is not yet configured. Would you like to configure MIST now?'

Selecting 'yes' brings up the Settings dialog box. If I select 'OK' (since all the settings are correct) get the following message:

'Unknown TntMPD version. Please reload the database.'

When I click the 'Reload' button I am asked for the password. I've confirmed that I have the password correct, and when I enter it, I get the following message:

'Unable to connect to TntMPD database. Please check your settings and try again.'

I've tried re-selecting the TntMPD database file with no better luck.
I've checked my email settings and MIST confirms 'Connection successful!'
The only option then is to cancel out of the settings dialog box. On the MIST main window I come to next, I'm unable to select 'Import email into TntMPD.' I can't think of any changes I've made to my operating system, etc. since the last time I successfully ran MIST. I appreciate any help!

Hi Charlie,

Sorry you're having trouble!  We'll get this figured out for you.

So, first [perhaps obvious] question: have you tried restarting the computer and trying again?

Yes, I've restarted and retried multiple times with no different result.

Charlie,

Thanks!  It seems like the error is coming from the TntMPD database itself.  Perhaps it got corrupted in some [hopefully small] way!  Try rebuilding the database:
  1. Try File > Utilities > Compact and Repair Database
  2. If that doesn't fix it, try File > Utilities > Rebuild Database
If neither of those work, let me know (and maybe send another log file.)

That did it. After running 'Compact and Repair Database', MIST worked fine for me. MANY thanks!

Charlie
