troubles getting MIST going

Greetings,
I’d like to know if there have been issues connecting MIST to gmail or other IMAP mail servers?

In gmail I’ve allowed for unauthorized apps to access the account but still get the error message that it’s have problems connecting to the server.

Hey James,

  Sorry you're having trouble!  We'll get this figured out for you.

  First off, did you check out the Troubleshooting page?  That may be enough to get you going.

  If not, try sending me the MIST log file  (just reply, not reply-all.)  I should be able to help point you in the right direction from that.
