Hello,
MIST has been freezing everytime I have opened it after importing no more than 8 emails. I have been experiencing this problem for several days now. I have uninstalled and re-installed, updated java, turned off my firewall and internet filter, updated windows, restarted my computer and am led to believe that the problem lies in your software. I cannot locate the issue. I have tried deleting previously imported emails to no success. This software has been working great apart from this past week. I have even changed the email address I import from to no success. Is there anything you can do to help?
Thanks in advance,

Hi Tom,
Thanks for the response! Nearly all my emails have attachments either actual documents or images in my signature. It is weird that it did not seem to create an issue in the previous months of use.

Hi Mark,
I've run into this recently myself! I think the problem (for me, at least) may lie with attachments - though I don't yet know why it started happening recently. Do the messages you're trying to import have attachments?

Good news! I discovered the problem in a most unexpected place. <geek>It was the result of updating a third-party library that introduced an incompatibility with another third-party library; and the problem only manifested itself when dealing with attachments!</geek>I've fixed the problem and should have a new release of MIST later today, Lord willing. Thanks for reporting this bug, Mark. It spurred me on to isolate the problem and take care of it!Tom

Mark,Yes, I'm baffled myself. I'll try to look into it soon and let you know once I can determine the problem. I'll make another release once that's solved.Tom
