Home Resource will be closed for May Day!!
3. UPDATES
Changes to Planned Route!!
The March route needs to change, as the XXs are closed for
construction and we are not sure if there will be a farmers market
(?).
New Route: from Kiwanis Park to Pattee Street, right on Pattee and up
to Main, turn left to Higgins and right up Higgins, going as far up as
construction allows, then back down Higgins to Front, right on Front,
circle down through Caras to Clark Fork market, TAKEOVER at the Fish
at 12:00! Workers in
Crisis Unite! Help right the ship!!
After the takeover, repeat the route, continuing on to Kiwanis for
arrival at approx. 12:30
LQQK{{{Takeover at noon on grass by the Trout!}}} KPAX planning to
film the takeover!
Dave got the permit for the park/drinking is ok, restriction is on
noise/amplification.
Deposits put down:$100 refundable for the park, $40 nonrefundable for
alcohol
$60 for PA, Steven reserved PA, Jim will pick it up Friday before 5pm.
Music: Taj, Helen Keller Symphony, and Javier care confirmed
Laura will call Aaron to manage sound.
We all need to commit to getting the word out!
Field day games: ultimate Frisbee, bacchi ball, field darts, kickball

4. REVISED SCHEDULE:
9 am. Workers meet at KIWANIS PARK to stash the
majestic Lady Ann Magee II, don costumes, and obtain a stack of
handbills.
9:30 am. All workers head out to the streets to distribute handbills
announcing the passage of Sir Smurfitt in the fabulous Lady Ann
Magee. Workers unite!
11:00 am. Sir Michael Smurfitt and his minions & his wage slaves head
back to Kiwanis Park to prep the boat and begin the March (the ruling
class party: Jay, Mike B.,& Steven, plus Workers to pull the boat).
11:30 am. Sir Michael Smurfitt points the dazzling Lady Ann Magee onto
the REVISED ROUTE starting at Kiwanis, and through the Streets of
Missoula for all us lowly workers to admire, relieving the drudgery of
our daily lives with his sparkling display of wealth and privilege!

speakers), Dave w/guitar (Immigration), Italian lady? (Conchetta,

5. DUTIES AND TASKS
Flyers: Kevin will email flyers tonight!!
Michel & Claire will send it out to their contact lists (reaching the
Unions & University)
PA: Jim has a check from IWW and will pick it up.
Boat: Paper mache tomorrow
Two people have to pull it at all times. No more than two people will
be able to ride in the boat.
Michael: Rickshaw driver, music
One round, each say duties and tasks:
Michael: Speaking, 5min “rant”
Claire: will be there at 9am and ready to do whatever is needed, will
flyer on Saturday and distribute flyer to contact list. Friend
“Conchetta” to speak (?)
Michel: will send out the flyer to his contact list (University),
speaking 5 minutes on the History of May Day
Katie: helping in park organizing tables, will bring ties and kickball
Laura: communicating with the bands, will get Aaron to engineer sound/
PA
Nan: talked to Erin of Macy’s, she will be at the park at noon (Kim to
follow up)
Rick: will flyer as an investor
Jim: will get it on the radio as many times as possible between now
and then
Max: co-coordinating food, will work on a booklet of songs and chants
Murphy will speak for NRRT
Dave: speaking on immigration, will sing a song, will join in boat
pull
Sarah: Mother Jones on kickball team !
Jay: Looking for CEO team, costumes, would like to spearhead a
flyering blitz on Friday, getting Wobbly coffee & gear, helping with
Wobbly kiosk
Steven: contacting Helen Keller Symphony, finishing boat
Me: Creating schedule, will be at the park during the March
