I was trying to watch LSU vs. Auburn (ncaa game) and it doesn't show under my live sports. I then logged into ESPN plus and found it, but when I try to use hulu as my provider to view the game it says I don't have access? I'm not in a blackout area. Do I have to purchase Live TV to actually watch football games?
The cloud-based operation was based on a ViBox all-in-one production video switcher and slo-mo replay system from Simplylive (now owned by Riedel Communications). The team also used a Simplylive Venue Gateway onsite encoder/decoder and multiviewer for IP encoding of all the camera and audio feeds and transported them to an AWS cloud instance using SRT.
As a redundant backup plan, ESPN also took four isolated camera feeds directly into a separate AWS cloud instance equipped with small-switching and audio-mixing capabilities. If there was a failure in the primary cloud-based production chain, ESPN would have been able to subswitch the live broadcast from that cloud instance.
The public is welcome to join the audience to watch the live show for free. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. for the first show and 12:30 p.m. for the second show. There will be limited seats and standing room. Entrance is first come, first served. All audience members must go through security, and bags are not allowed.

There is also access to the Football Bowl Subdivision and the Football Championship Subdivision games as part of the offering.
Watching live ESPN channels still will require a paid TV subscription, whether from cable, satellite, or a live TV streaming service like YouTube TV or Hulu With Live TV. The app acts as a gatekeeper by requiring users to sign in with their TV provider account to enable live viewing.
