"Agua" (Spanish: "Water") is a song by Puerto Rican producer Tainy and Colombian singer J Balvin. The track was released on 9 July 2020 by NEON16 and Interscope Records as the theme song and lead single off the soundtrack to the 2020 film The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run. "Agua" is prominently characterized by a sample of the SpongeBob SquarePants theme song throughout the track.[1]

"Agua" is a reggaeton track that samples the SpongeBob SquarePants theme song throughout the track, though Stephen Hillenburg was credited as a co-writer of "Agua".[2] Regarding this track, J Balvin expressed that the track "has good vibes and a lot of happiness, which we need during these moments."[3] Throughout the song, Balvin makes numerous references to SpongeBob characters and settings in the lyrics, and he interpolates part of the SpongeBob theme song in the track's bridge.[4]

I grew up in the border between Peru, Colombia And Brazil, in the sixties where the best parties for any reason were in El Marco Amazonia, Brazil (now swallowed by Tabatinga) And the reason I found this site was to make sure that the words for the cachaca song were correct. After all this years I just remembered and started singing it! (to myself)

Download/Stream: de Flores, a co-creation with Mose, is the only song I have not created, it is a personal adaptation of a ceremony song called Agua de Flores that I sang while living in Mexico between the sea and the deep water of a cenote. The vocals were recorded together with Mose in Berlin and was produced by him with elements given to him by Steffen.Voice, Sansula: MaywaNative American Flute: Mose

Al agua pato is a very fun song to sing. Kids love the rhythm and the repetition of sounds. The chorus can stand alone and is often what children learn first. Here is a video of Sira from Yo canto y bailo esta canción singing just the chorus. The words are on the screen, but I have included a translation below. The actions make the meaning clear and are perfect for Spanish language learners. As always, thanks to Pablo at Yo canto y bailo esta canción for permission to embed the video.

The chorus is a good place to start with little children and beginning Spanish learners, but the rest of the song is lots of fun too. You can hear a recording of the whole song by Amapola in the video below. This version is one of the many available to download on Amazon. (It is marked as explicit there, but it is a mistake.) Adriana and Cantaré have really clear versions of Al agua pato on Amazon too.

Fortunately, Luis Pescetti generously shares his songs on his website and on YouTube. You will find several videos of him singing Al Agua Pato here, along with the mp3, the lyrics and chords. The version he sings is slightly different than the one above; it has an extra verse and slightly different words in the last verse. The lyrics for this version follow the video. The translation is provided for meaning only, with no attempt at rhythm or rhyme.

Many of us fill our glasses, kettles, and pots from taps without thinking twice. But increasingly, whether its through debates over the price of bottled water, or major crises involving localized contamination, the natural resource is becoming increasingly politicized. Lido Pimienta, a Colombian singer and producer based in Toronto, uses this tension as the basis for "Agua," a song that "speaks directly to the fragile strength of Earth, and our problematic, almost morbid, relationship with her."

For the song's video, premiering today on The FADER, Lido and her team took a more playful approach to a serious issue, mixing digital and analog footage and editing. It was shot at different 'nature' spots from around Toronto, including the city's massive aquarium which opened in 2013.

In an e-mail to The FADER Lido explains the song's origin. "It's a chant to the water, canto-al-agua, which is also a movement lead by Indigenous people that I've been following from when I lived in Colombia. My family is Indigenous from the Wayuu territory, so the poem is also to them, and the immigrant in me, singing to that connection through water and a water crisis in our land, which mirrors the same issues affecting First Nations in Canada as well."

u are right except for the last phrase, he is avoiding her, he is giving up at her, he is denying his natural instinct. "y dejar que el agua corra" - let the water flows, this mean that he is letting her go. beautiful and sad song anyway.

Please help me understand this song. It was sent to me by someone I have been flirting with and I am lost. I do not understand Spanish so I found an English translation....but I am still lost. Please hurry : + )

In this song, the main character has, arguably, divulged his love to his closest friend. "Còmo quieres ser mi amiga Si por ti darìa la vida," but sadly rejected, and received the most dreaded response: we can still be friends.

"Què hacer, tù lo sabes, Conservar la distancia, Renunciar a lo natural, Why dejar que el agua corra." the protagonist asks himself a question, of which he already knows the answer to: he must keep his distance, and quit the intense love that he already, and naturally, feels for his friend.

I only programmed one of his songs, it will be featured in the first half of my program, between a Manuel Ponce cycle and another cycle by Venezuelan composer Modesta Bor. I have plans in the future to learn and perform the entire cycle by Antonio María Valencia to the poems of Otto de Greiff, the Melodías para voz de mujer y piano. There is one recording that is available on Amazon by soprano Emperatriz Figueroa, although there are other recordings by soprano Patricia Caicedo and the great Colombian mezzo soprano Marta Senn.

A dual major in vocal performance and music education, Perez is a visually impaired singer-songwriter, guitarist, and ukulele player who found both academic and creative inspiration there. Last summer, she released a four-song EP titled Agua de Valencia, which draws deeply on her time in Spain. We spoke to Perez about how her experience has helped her grow as a person and a musician.

Our learners are learning to LEAD the way by being Lifelong learners, Empathetic citizens, Authentic individuals, and Design thinkers. The song selections will reflect this theme rather than the typical holiday song. We are looking forward to ending 2023 with a memorable event with our families. The greatest challenge we have is providing enough space indoors for all of our families to attend. Although the Village is our largest space, it is not conducive to the number of families we have, so please dress warm and come prepared.
