BCN42 -DATEBOOK ADVISORY
Students in the Culinary Arts and Management class at San
Francisco's O'Connell High School will demonstrate their skills at a board of
education meeting tonight.
The students will serve board members spiced lamb sirloin with
mint, cilantro and garlic béarnaise, along with white beans and braised
greens from the school's garden.
The culinary program is headed by chef Dan Scherotter, who
recently sold his restaurant Palio D'Asti.
The meal will be served starting at 5:30 p.m. The board meeting
begins at 6 p.m. at the board of education offices, 555 Franklin St., San
Francisco.
