I won't be back next semester and I don't know whether I will be teaching at the Journalism School after that. I have a few folks who still have outstanding assignments, but most of you I am unlikely to see again.  I just wanted to tell you that I have really enjoyed working with all of you and have been knocked out by all the skills and resourcefulness you bring to bear on the job. This is easily the most able group of students I have worked with in the six years I have taught at the college and university level. I wish you all well and expect to be following your work as journalists in coming years.

Hold onto my email addresses below and get in touch with me if you have a project you would like to kick around or could use some help finding a resource or interpreting some obscure public record. I will be more than delighted to assist you in any way that I can.

Hey Bill,

Sorry for my outstanding stories still Bill! I just got the TV Show from my cohort and will have it in the back tomorrow morning along with a few grafs on the subject. I will piece together the wild kitchen story this week before working at the good ol' Chron everyday. I should have it before Friday. I hope that is okay.

I met your old coworker Lester today. He said he knew you and Rob.

Remember when you told me that SOMA has big cockroaches? Well I experienced that first hand today as I sat down at my desk today to edit and the largest fucking roach I have ever scene lost its grip on the ceiling and fell onto my desk. I guess it was the Chron's welcoming committee.

Talk Soon,
Sean

Hi Bill,

I am goin over my story and I don't think I can realistically finish it today. Honestly its looking like a non-story with a lot of plot. It was an issue of time management on my part and I'll accept the consequences.

It was good working with you, Bill. Your knowledge of government agencies is incredible. I will definitely take you up on your word for further public records. Let me know.
