Here's a cool opportunity for folks who like to write and want to get more involved with mission-driven innovation:

Call for Writers

The Philadelphia Social Innovations Journal, an online publication that highlights groundbreaking solutions to social problems, is looking for writers to join the “Nominate an Innovator” team.  Readers nominate nonprofit organizations or individuals that they think should be highlighted by the journal.  As a member of our team, you go out and interview these nominees to find out more about their work and what makes them innovative.  Then, you write up your findings, placing this organization and individual in a broader context of best practices in social innovation.  The commitment is about 1 article every three months and in return you get to connect with some of the most promising organizations in the Philadelphia area and get published – two great ways to broaden your network and exposure, especially in this tight job market.  If you are interested in becoming part of this team, please contact Laura Horwitz at laura....@gmail.com before September 30.

Take care,
Blake
