3rd Annual Blood Donation Camp by M5 - 109 Units of Blood Collected 

 

 

 

 

• Team Mission5 at SFS College, Hebbagodi, Bangalore, organised the 3rd edition of one-day blood donation camp on 21st Feb 2011. The camp was organized in association with Narayana Hrudayalaya Blood Bank, Bangalore.
• A total of 130 donors participated in the camp and 109 units of blood was collected.
  Each donor was given refreshment and a paper bags saying "Say NO to plastic" made by children from an orphanage supported by Mission5.
• To student donors a copy of the annual report of Mission5, a pamphlet and a ball pen was given to make them aware of the activities of Mission5 and encourage them to join the students' initiative.
• On the occasion, a photo documentary commemmorating the 4-year completion of Mission5 was screened.
• The story of the bllod donation camp was published in a Hindi daily Rajasthan Patrika on 23rd February 2011.
• The 3rd edition was successful in collecting 25 units of blood more than the 2nd edition.
