Bank of America helps to revitalize an Eastside neighborhood

Bank of America employees, alongside SA Youth's YouthBuild members, planted 8 community gardens on Global Youth Service Day in this neighborhood, and they lined two blocks, making neighborhood repairs, painting homes, cleaning and yards, and cleaning up trash in ditches and around the neighborhood.

 

The City of San Antonio also repaired all the potholes in the neighborhood on the same day :-)  

 

SA Youth recently received $20,000 from a national grant from Bank of America, and another $20,000 from the local office. 

 

It was a remarkable effort, and they have been great corporate partners!
