Vacancy Announcement: Program Manager at NYFN
National Youth Federation Nepal (NYFN) is an umbrella organization, led by youth, operating in 72 districts of Nepal. It is a non-political, not-for-profit, non-governmental organization established under the guidelines of National Youth Policy 2010 and having a competitive team members in its governance.
Position: Program Manager (PM)
Duty Station: Kathmandu
The Role:
The Program Manager (PM) will have overall responsibility for NYFN program development and administrative operational and other day to day activities. The PM, will play a key role in the implementation of all programs the efficiency, effectiveness and impact of our interventions with the budget available; will be expected to strengthen and support all areas of NYFN operations quality programme implementation, monitoring and evaluation, team management.
S/he is also partially responsible for the Admin and Finance of daily operation. It is expected to coordinate team members including volunteers, interns and strengthen all areas of NYFN operations. The PM will work closely with NYFN Management Team expecting an efficient result.
Required qualifications and experience:
• Candidate must have bachelor's degree in a relevant academic discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years experience on Community assessment, program development, program writing, management and monitoring.
• Knowledge on NYP 2010, post15 development agendas, WPAY and youth issues.
• Skills like team coordination, report writing, financial management of the program (particularly in budgeting & reporting).
• Computer literacy, particularly in word, excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and team management with experience in leading multi-cultural, multi-location, values driven teams.
• Committed to NYFN goal, policies and values.
