Call for a Consultant (Youth)
To develop:
'A Toolkit for Youth Participation in the Local Development Process'
National Youth Federation Nepal (NYFN) is an umbrella organization, led by youth, operating in 72 districts of Nepal. It is a non-political, not-for-profit, non-governmental organization established under the guidelines of National Youth Policy 2010 and having competent team members in its management.
NYFN seeks energetic, enthusiastic, hardworking, self-motivated, and goal oriented individual age below 40 years old as a consultant to carry out a project to develop 'A Toolkit for Youth Participation in the Local Development Process' in Nepali language.
Local development process comprises of making the local youths potent enough to make a difference at local level mobilizing the resources at local level. There should be effective utilization of the local natural resources in active collaboration with the local government and non-government organizations. Besides they should be able to make their voice heard in a civilized manner and through systematic channel for their rights rather than being energized by the political voice.
The interested candidates can apply for the Consultancy work by sending their CV, letter of interest and technical proposal including a summary of financial proposal (not more than 3 pages). Evaluation will be made based upon the documents submitted. TOR will be forwarded to the candidates' email and interested candidates are requested to write an email subjecting 'TOR for Youth Participation'. Any queries for this call can send by email to in...@nyfn.org.np; email received after 12noon of 24 July won't be responded. Telephone call won't be entertained. The deadline for the application is 25 July 2014; application should send via email either in Nepali or English language.
The organizations that possess the resources to develop the toolkit for youth participation in the local development process can as well collaborate with NYFN; all the medium of communication is welcome to them.
