Hello everyone!

We had several exciting items to announce!

1. First and foremost: We have re-connected with William H. Lane, Incorporated, who will be our new team TITLE SPONSOR! Check them out and like them on Facebook:

We will be working on NEW KITS and re-branding to promote their gracious sponsorship, so be on the lookout for this exciting development and new kit designs, and then we will place an order, ASAP!  I have put information about uniforms at the bottom of this note. I will send an updated google document link with the spreadsheet to place your uniform orders.

2. We have an exciting new COMMUNITY PARTNER, the Southern Tier AIDS Program (https://www.stapinc.org)! We are going to work with them to promote both of our missions, and promote their events while raising awareness of our mission. They have two very exciting events coming up, and they are graciously going to allow us to table at their Expos for both of these events and promote our team and mission in their newsletter. Thanks to Amoreena for helping us make this amazing connection.  Their events are:

- The AIDS Ride for Life 26.2, a Cycling Marathon on May 29, 2016 (coinciding with the Herald of Victory Marathon), starting in downtown Binghamton - http://aidsrideforlife.org/news/2016-03-15-may-29-2016-ride-for-life-262-a-cycling-marathon and https://www.facebook.com/events/947095915364317/

- The AIDS Ride for Life, 100m, 80m or 40m road ride, on September 10, 2016 - http://aidsrideforlife.org

I would be SO very thrilled if we could have a presence at both of these events and the expo! The STAP also does a lot of work with cycling awareness and will be promoting National Bike Month in May and May 20th as “Bike to Work Day”! I am very excited about working with STAP and promoting cycling in our community.

3. We also have several other committed sponsors:
Gemini Construction Management, LLC
Coughlin and Gerhart
Little Falls Veterinary Clinic
T- Squared Custom Millwork
Daughter for Hire
Cascade Health and Fitness

We are still waiting to hear about commitments from some of our other sponsors, and we will let you know as they arrive.

4.  I would love to get updated bios for the website as we get geared up for the 2016 season. Check out our website with current bios and send me some updates so we can get your most recent accomplishments and goals listed.  Thank you for your responses to our interest survey. It’s very helpful to understand what everyone’s goals are as we get started with the season. I will be reaching out with information about a team meeting in the next month or so, and we can talk more about races and future plans and get out for a group ride!

This is a VERY EXCITING time for Mission in Motion! I am so thrilled to be a part of such a great group of women, promoting healthy living and supporting such a worthwhile cause.

Sincerely,

Delana

Check out Champ-sys.com to see the hundreds of cycling, running, triathlon clothing they make in various styles, sizes, lengths with different pad options and make a list of the things you want.

Here's a link to the cycling for women:

For example: bib shorts- options

Bib shorts are $64- elastic leg grippers
summer bib shorts $76 (lighter and cooler)
Fleece bib shorts $78 (fleece lined and warmer)
Edge Bib shorts $80 (elastic leg grippers- flatlock stiching
Performance Pro Bib short $88- silicone injection leg grippers
Bella Bib Short $98- flat lock stiching, anatomically cut, shorter length, doubled over leg openings, no elastic or grippers.
Bella Razor Bib short $118- flatlock stiching, (anatomically cut, shorter length, fabric injection leg grippers), comes in 3 lengths
choice of 2 chamois
Donna Forte or Gran Fondo (thicker for longer 8 hour rides)

Yes, all these options are also available in regular shorts as well( non-bib, meaning there will be elastic at the waist)  But If you can't stand a tight elastic waist, then order BIB shorts, much more confort but then be prepared to undress to use the bathroom.

You really have to go to the website and look at their examples of each item and read all the descriptions and choices and measurements to determine what you need.  If you like longer shorts, don't order the Bella style ( or at least order the longest length in the Bella if you want that style)  If you have large quads, don't order the cheapest shorts with elastic, order the ones with doubled over leg opening or the silicone grippers.
