Only one woman registered for the Open race so far - almost guaranteed cash pay out for MiM up for grabs if you just finish!!

Bringing my stuff with me to race if this stays the case, assuming grandparent-reinforcement get there in time to hang with the kiddos.

Anyone care to join me? Always a fun day even without the crockpot cookoff this year.

You make the Dave Panella memorial race great.

This is a great local race started by the king ….…

Wrong king, Karl Faruzel started this race in memory of Dave Panella who had a courageous battle with cancer. The race has grown and changed a lot, change is only a good thing if the local crowd keeps coming out to ride and enjoy a great day. For those who want to try a cross race this is one of few opportunities to hop into a race for only $15.00!! Sign up for the citizens men’s or women’s field in wave 3, it’ll be a good race if you’re new to cross and riding a mountain bike.

Dave Panella registration ends on Thursday, October 10^th. Please register online today, you’ll save paperwork and an added day-of registration fee (if you were to sign up on Sunday). We are part of the CNY cross cup series again this year. This year’s race proceeds are going to Mom’s House in Johnson city. They provide free daycare for single moms who are pursuing further education.

The 5K cross-country running race is returning this year, held at 9:00 AM prior to the bike races. You can register for the running race here.

I’m happy to say that the Greene high school mountain bike team will be selling food during and after the races as a fundraiser! Bring a change a change of clothes and some beverages to relax with fellow riders after the race. Save yourself the trouble of cooking on Sunday and eat lunch/dinner with us and help support young cyclists. A great part of the race is hanging out afterwards with all the great local cycling folks. Come and join us!
