All,
The Dave Panella Memorial Cyclocross Race is on Sunday, October 24th. Registration is now available on Bikereg. We have not confirmed that we will have a running race at this time; stay tuned to our face book page for more information on that.
Race-day call-ups will be made in the order of registration times. Help us run a smooth race for you by registering early. To encourage folks to register early we’ve dropped the pre-registration fees for most fields even more than usual! Event fees will return to normal after midnight on Wednesday, October 2nd. This is always a fun race so sign up early to make sure we have a bib number for you!!!
This year we’ve permitted the race with NACS. Beginners and newcomers without a USAC license will NOT have to pay an overpriced one-day license fee. You’ll be able to race for the price shown on the Bikereg page (plus their small registration fee).
We are once again part of the CNYCross Cup series! Your racing placement will count for the CNY Cross cup series.
We’ll the grateful grub food truck at the race again for those who are hungry after racing 😊.
In honor of Dave Panella, a fellow cyclist who lost his battle with cancer, this year's race proceeds will benefit Mom’s House in Johnson City, NY. Mom’s House provides daycare for single moms while they get a college degree.
Follow the event on Facebook for the latest updates and prize sponsors. By Following the event, you’ll allow our sponsors to see of all the folks attending. This will help retain & get new sponsors in the future so we can keep giving out great prizes.
As always, we will be having a kid’s race too. Children must be accompanied by an adult while
out on the course. Children must wear helmets (like everyone else), kids under 6 are welcome- please make sure they have enough prior riding experience to be safe and have fun! Remember, training wheels don’t work on the grass.
Please take time to thank our previous sponsors:

Attention:
Due to rising cases of COVID in our area, we will require the use of masks at registration, awards and any other area where people will be congregating regardless of vaccination status. You’ve probably seen professional athletes at both the Olympics and major grand tours wearing masks when off the bike; we ask you to do the same to keep each other safe and healthy.
