Severe Weather Policy

[Missing Link Running Club]

Hey Everyone, 

It looks like there is a chance for some thunderstorms tonight, so I just want to send a reminder on our policy for running with severe weather. We will always cancel for Severe Weather Watches/Warnings or if there is any lightning in the area. We will *not* cancel for rain or snow otherwise. For heat or air quality, we will typically not cancel, but will generally modify our workouts and keep things quite a bit shorter.

It does not look like there are any watches/warnings for tonight, so the thing we'll be watching is the lightning in the area.

In cases that we cancel, keep an eye on the What's App Channel (https://missinglinkrunning.com/chat). I will also update the calendar item to show the run as cancelled if there are any changes.
