Sorry guys perhaps not right topic, but i have question and answers i cant find around forum, maybe someone can help me. 1. how to turn off audio notifications on android phone Garmin connect where when you doing activities without Bluetooth headphones - phone after lap/km start talking in your pocket? ( i tried all around and or I'm blind or i missing somewhere something in settings its annoying and putts me in awkward situation when I'm in public like in when quick in shop, passing people etc etc ) 2. where would be that option where you could enable TOTAL distance running or walking notification on headphones after every km.... like after 1 km saying 7 km total done and continue counts every km, but not like its now configured 1 lap done and after another km says 1 lap done? (would be great if its says total laps or total distance in headphones during activities to not look on your wrist, otherwise sometimes i forget how far i run...)

The Google Pixel 4a phone goes a step further and can transcribe mobile network calls, voice and video calls on apps such as WhatsApp and Zoom. The ability to caption phone calls will likely roll out to other devices.

Some earbuds have bone-conduction sensing technology that detects your jaw movement vibrations when you're talking. That helps the earbuds know when you're talking so they can focus on your voice while also reducing background noise. Sophisticated software also plays a role in filtering out background noise while the microphones are able to focus on your voice.

** Unlimited international calls are available to landline and mobile numbers in select destinations only, which are subject to change at any time. For each Straight Talk account you may select up to 20 unique international telephone numbers to call, which will apply to all lines in the account. These 20 numbers can be changed with each new 30-day service cycle. Calls must originate from the US or Puerto Rico (no international roaming). For personal use only. Other conditions apply.

With so many app permissions to keep track of, strong mobile security is essential. Norton 360 for Mobile includes a built-in VPN with powerful encryption to help safeguard the sensitive personal information you send and receive. Plus, it features antivirus tools to help block malware and spyware. Keep your personal details private with Norton.

If you wear hearing aids, you know they are a big help in most situations; however, there may be times you want to make talking on the phone, watching a movie, or eating at your favorite restaurant even easier. And, if you have normal hearing, you might need to communicate better with friends and family members who are deaf or have hearing loss.

InnoCaption is a free captioning service for the deaf and hard of hearing funded by the FCC (Federal Communications Commission). It provides real-time captioning on your mobile device. The app was developed in conjunction with live stenographers to provide fast, easy, accurate captioning. Users must register and self-certify you have a hearing loss to use this service.

This Apple app offers real-time captioning on your mobile phone with ClearCaptions Mobile. ClearCaptions is an FCC-certified service made possible through a federally-funded program for qualified individuals with hearing loss. They offer a free account with a personal ClearCaptions voice phone number for captioned calls. Captioned phone conversations can be saved for later review.

The problem is they use the phone case as a type of speaker box. They allow the back of the speaker to "breath" into the case so that it can produce bass. That makes the speaker sound better and easier to understand people talking.

This has to do with your cell phone provider, the location of the cell tower, where you are located in relation to the cell towers, and objects in the way that block or reflect the signal. Try going to a different room in your house or to a different spot outside. If the people your talking to still hear a echo, then you gotta switch carriers if you absolutely love your cell phone.

Echo should not happen. Sometimes it is a physical problem with the phone. Sometimes it is a bug in the programming of the phone. If you can't resolve it and you wan't out of your contract, write a letter to the FCC. That quickly got me out of mine with T-mobile and 3 phones (all samsung S3) that had echo problems.

1st of all remove all the back covera on ur phone.. And see where the mic is located..bith the primary as well as the secondary...as u find them..just try and suck the mics with a bit of pressure...it solved my problem..as my rubber cover was a bit loose frm inside..sucking it created a pressure of air..which pulled the cover more inside..hence my echo problem was solved...without opening my mobile phone...try ur luck guys..

The odd thing though is that I receive picture messages from her and if she is in a group chat I can see her texts then. But if she texts anyone that uses an android it will not go through (had her test a few others). My agent friend with the iPhone cannot call Android uses either.

Perhaps the best android device for blind users is the Google Pixel. Pixel devices receive updates prior to other devices, and Google guarantees that they will receive such updates for three years from the date that they first appear in the Google store. In addition, certain accessibility applications developed by Google are first available on Pixel devices

An excellent list of android applications for people who are blind or low vision can be found on the RAZ Mobility Accessible App Installer. This application lists and describes the top applications for individuals who are blind.

The iPhone has an excellent selection of apps for people with vision loss. Apps designed for people who are blind are frequently, but not always, launched on iOS first. This is definitely an advantage that the iPhone has over the Google Pixel. In some cases, developers decide only to develop an iOS version of their application. As an example, Seeing AI, a popular app developed by Microsoft for people who are blind, launched the iOS version of their app a few years ago, but has yet to launch an android version.

End-to-end encryption is a technology that keeps the content you share private and secure, from one endpoint (such as your phone) to another (such as the phone of the person you are talking to). The content you share will be unreadable if it is intercepted in transit.

Fi offers end-to-end encrypted calls for one-on-one conversations between Android phones on Fi by default, which means eligible phone conversations are protected automatically and only you and the person you're talking to can listen to the contents of your call.

(For context: I make calls using a relay service, where I type, and a remote assistant speaks and types the response back to me. This service involves making the call on my phone, so I still get the sound of the people talking - I want to silence this.)

The iPhone manufacturer also made news in 2019 when it was revealed that contractors with the company were regularly hearing far more than they bargained for. iPhone users would be justified in their concerns after this fact. Though Apple claims that they have cracked down on the accidental collection of sensitive or embarrassing personal data, the technology responsible for it in the first place remains commonplace for all modern mobile devices.

While tapping landlines is relatively simple, mobile devices require a different approach. Access to a physical line is no longer necessary, and software has taken the place of traditional surveillance tactics. Even governments opt to use spyware when they want to listen to a target's phone calls. In most cases, however, an official organization wouldn't waste resources watching you without good reason.

On top of that, sending recorded calls to an unauthorized listener will use a notable amount of data. If your mobile data usage increases when you suspect someone of spying, the situation may warrant further investigation.

If information leaks match statements you've made while talking on the phone, there may be someone listening to your calls. Keep in mind that this and other possible indications of spying can easily have other explanations.

Fortunately, with the release of iOS 15.2, Apple added App Privacy Report to its mobile operating system, allowing you to easily see when apps have accessed sensitive information or hardware, including your microphone.

Once they have your trust, the scammer moves on to getting money from you. They might try to set up a direct bank transfer by tricking you into revealing your bank login information over the phone or screen-sharing on a computer, or they might direct you to send funds through a mobile payment app, or they may even attempt to convince you to drive to the store (staying on the phone the whole time) to purchase gift cards, which the scammer can then turn into cash.
