The chorus changes things around and guitars join in to add an edge to the instrumental, however, those are far back for the most part aside from the main guitar riff that is the introduction to each verse.
Vocally, Shimazaki impresses with an emotional performance. Rather than showcasing his range, this song demanded that the singer knew how to convey the feelings in the lyrics, make those hit the listener, and match the emotional instrumental.
Freesia (フリジア, Furijia) is the ending theme for Rockman Zero 4. It was written by Yū Mizuki and Ippo Yamada, composed by Luna Umegaki, arranged by III and performed by Ciel's voice actress Rie Tanaka. In the game's ending credits only a small part from the beginning is sung. Outside Japan it is replaced by an instrumental of Freesia named Promise -Next New World-. Freesia was kept in the English version of Mega Man Zero Collection. Both were released as part of the Remastered Tracks Rockman Zero Physis alongside a karaoke version of Freesia.
I know, I know - not picking "Heart Goes On" for this season seems nothing short of a crime, but the truth is that there's a Heartcatch song I like better! ^^' For me, "Heart Seeds" takes this spot all the way! It's a sentimental song, where the Cures reminisce about how they first met and all the people they encountered....it's really sweet! It somehow manages to capture Heartcatch in every way perfectly - and that instrumental bit at the end is just...yes. Lyrics & music: Heart Seeds (song)
