Name's Tommy Bowington. I noticed an error on this soundtrack, the Ladytron Jays Kooner Remix " Sugar " is not the correctly version of the game. The one which is online is shorter ( 3min 26 instead of 5min 25 !) and so there's less lyrics we can listen than ingame. I tried to replace it with the " Upload/fix songs " function of this site but it stucks hard. You should fix it (check " Download all songs at once " too, it don't works).

it should have more rock or metal music so i tried putting my music on it but it wont work for most of the songs and i renamed them ALL to be mp3's but they still wont show. btw cant find out how to change songs during racing action

Electronic Arts will never ever give any of their own composed music for this game because it's their copyright to own it so bear with it.

As for the OST, it's great actually and EA Black Box really puts the hard work in choosing effectively musics that are suitable for this game.

Carbon is the hardest NFS serial ever.it's test ur driving skill coz the valley is so challenging. Most wanted is the most excitement NFS serial ever. The pursuit is also the hardest ever.Ekstrak Hard drivers.....it's cool man!!!!!!

think need for speed CARBON is best from need for speed PRO-STREET, I prefer need for speed carbon to play not PRO-STREET, as its sound tracks are also nice... i like its cars race track and the most DRIFT.... as i use 2 play this game every night i'm perfect in drift race... but while police-chase the soundtracks should be more hard rock or strong electronic....... hmmmmmmm this need for speed carbon is one of my favorites.. but i dont enjoyed in PRO-STREET. i dont know why but i dont like...

This game is awesome. The cops are a lil harder though, i think it's due to the curves and the fact that this edition is at night lol. You can't find the menu music because it's a mixture of three songs, representing the three types of cars on this installment of NFS.

i love this game especially the race wars...hard to beat them all....i love most wanted too...but carbon is just like fast and furious(tokyo drift) movie ,i love the movie too... go in challenging race n show me ur talent guys and thats little bit interesting...

Hey man! NFS Carbon rocks! This album rocks! But, what I really want is the soundtrack of the Main Menu, you know, the music on the background that starts when you open the game. Is there anyway that you can give us any link to download it?

You can't find the menu music because it's a mixture of three songs, representing the three types of cars on this installment of NFS. The game plays the song according to what car is on screen. That first one you hear, is for the exotics. Whats the first car they show when the game loads? The audi, which is a exotic. The tuners have an upbeat techno track, and the muscles have a rock track. Sometimes you have to wait to hear them, but they do change accordingly.

For the main menu song on the "Press Start" screen. go to the TIME SPLITTERS 3 FUTURE PERFECT soundtrack and download Breaking and Entering.. it's also an EA game and shows how they can just recycle stuff.. lol
enjoy!

Q. "carbon is one of my favorite games i find i challenging to drift here .. hmm by the way im looking for wolf's theme song and i dnt knw its title could anyone help me."

A. Wolf's theme song is track 10 Dynamite MC - After Party.

I love most of the songs themselves (I'm really suprised they put Lady Sovreign in but anyways). The police chase music can be found on this site under "Need for Speed Most Wanted Original Score"--look for 'The Last Pursuit' and 'The Heat'. But...the TRUE NFSC OST (menus and racing) is by Trevor Morris/Ekstrak and only avaliable on itunes or related...and YES you DO have to pay for it.

Original EA Score is what im looking for: not these. The menu and the ones that say Need For Speed Carbon composed music is by Trevor Morris, and there is no free download fo it. I wish i could get it for free.

one of my faves is Ekstrak hard drivers is a very cool song . its a very cool game the story line its as long the previous kinda boring and short . theres more curves in roads and in the canyons its kind hard driving through curves on the road . next years nfa prostreet is coming out im hoping the next one has a better game play

It is a pleasure once more to express my thanks to Miss Frances Rodwell, who, as usual,[vi]has rendered me much valuable assistance, and to Mr. Geoffrey Meade-Waldo, of theNatural History Museum, who has been kind enough to set me right on many an entomologicalpoint.

I am sure that my readers will welcome an extract from the essay that formed the starting-pointof my own researches, especially as this extract is necessary for the due understandingof what follows. I will therefore let the master speak for himself, abridging hiswords in parts:2

This is the theory that satisfied Lon Dufour, as he contemplated the incomprehensiblemarvel of those dead Buprestes proof against corruption. A preserving-fluid, incomparablysuperior to aught that human science can produce, explains the mystery. He, the master, the ablest of them all, an expert in the niceties of anatomy; he who, with magnifying-glassand scalpel, examined the whole entomological series, leaving no nook or corner unexplored;he, in short, for whom insect organism possessed no secrets can think of nothing betterthan an antiseptic fluid to give at least the semblance of an explanation of a factthat leaves him confounded. I crave permission to emphasize this comparison betweenanimal instinct and the reasoning power of the sage in order the better to bring tolight, in due season, the overwhelming superiority of the former.

On a bright, sunny day it is wonderful to watch the different operations of theseindustrious miners. Some patiently remove with their mandibles a few bits of gravelfrom the bottom of the pit and push the heavy mass outside; others, scraping the wallsof the corridor with the sharp rakes of their tarsi, collect a heap of rubbish whichthey sweep out backwards and send streaming down the sides of the slopes in a longthread of dust. It was these periodical billows of sand discharged from the galleriesin process of building that betrayed the presence of my first Cerceres to me and enabledme to discover their nests. Others, either because they are tired or because theyhave finished their hard task, seem to rest and [21]polish their antenn and wings under the natural eaves that most frequently protecttheir dwelling; or else they remain motionless at the mouth of the hole, merely showingtheir wide, square faces, striped black and yellow. Others, lastly, flit gravely hummingon the neighbouring kermes-oak-bushes, where the males, always on the watch near theburrows in course of construction, are not slow to join them. Couples form, oftendisturbed by the arrival of a second male, who strives to supplant the happy possessor. The humming becomes threatening, brawls take place and often the two males roll inthe dust until one of them acknowledges the superiority of his rival. Near by, thefemale awaits the outcome of the struggle with indifference; she finally accepts themale whom the chances of the contest bestow upon her; and the couple fly out of sightin search of peace and quiet on some distant brushwood. Here the part played by themales ends. Only half the size of the females and nearly as numerous, they prowl allaround the burrows, but never enter and never take part in the laborious mining operationsnor in the perhaps even more difficult hunting expeditions by means of which the cellsare to be stocked.

The victim which the Cerceris chooses whereon to feed her grubs is a large-sized Weevil,Cleonus ophthalmicus. We see the kidnapper arrive heavily laden, carrying her victim between her legs, body to body, head to head, and plump down at some distance from her hole, to completethe rest of the journey without the aid of her wings. The Wasp is now dragging herprey in her mandibles up a vertical, or at least a very steep surface, productiveof frequent tumbles which send kidnapper and kidnapped rolling helter-skelter to thebottom, but incapable of discouraging the indefatigable mother, who, covered withdirt and dust, ends by diving into the burrow with her booty, which she has not letgo for a single moment. Whereas the Cerceris finds it far from easy to walk with sucha burden, especially on ground of this character, it is a different matter when sheis flying, which she does with a vigour that astonishes us when we consider that thesturdy little creature is carrying a prize almost as large as herself and heavier.I had the curiosity to compare the weight of the Cerceris and [24]her victim: the first turned the scale at 150 milligrammes;1 the second averaged 250 milligrammes,2 or nearly double.

These figures are eloquent of the powers of the huntress, nor did I ever weary ofadmiring the nimbleness and ease with which she resumed her flight, with the gamebetween her legs, and rose to a height at which I lost sight of her whenever, trackedtoo close by my indiscretion, she resolved to flee in order to save her precious booty. But she did not always fly away; and I would then succeed, not without difficulty, lest I should hurt her, in making her drop her prey by worrying her and rolling herover. I would then seize the Weevil; and the Cerceris, thus despoiled, would huntabout here and there, enter her lair for a moment and soon come out again to fly offon a fresh chase. In less than ten minutes the skilled huntress had found a new victim, performed the murder and accomplished the rape, which I often allowed myself to turnto my own profit. Eight times in succession I have committed the same robbery at theexpense of the same Wasp; eight times, with unshaken consistency, she has recommencedher fruitless expedition. Her patience outwore mine; and I [25]left her in undisturbed possession of her ninth capture.
