Yesterday we visited Pastors Paulino Esquivel and Jose Pelayo. Our
primary purpose was to encourage them and pray for them, their
families, and their ministries. Pr. Esquivel's mother-in-law died
yesterday afternoon while we were in Mexico. Please pray for the
family during this time of loss. Continue to pray for Pr. Esquivel's
church and home for the disabled. We were able to take $685 in
grocery cards that were generously donated for the home along with
bedsheets, adult diapers and bed pads.

Pr. Pelayo and his family recently moved across town and are now in a
much better house and neighborhood. However, the Zetas are ruling
Nava and it is only a matter of time before the federales impose
martial law in the town. The Zetas are demanding "protection" money
from the business owners and those who do not pay are killed, or
family members are kidnapped. Pr. Pelayo's daughter Alejandra works
for a local business that was visited by the Zetas this past week,
pray for her safety. The daughter of another business owner was
kidnapped last week and there is no word on her condition.

We did have a good visit and were able to take them food supplies and
diapers. Their miracle baby, Ruth, is completely normal and
developmental sound, God still answers prayers. The church is still
struggling along. The problem they face is the same that our churches
face in the States. People to do not want to hear the truth. They
want to be entertained, and so the people prefer churches that
entertain rather than preach the truth of God's words. We see today a
global culture that is wholly given to entertainment and have no
desire for truth and righteousness and holiness. Pray for the
faithful of Iglesia Bautista Victoria.

God granted us a safe trip there and back and we did not encounter any
problems. For that we give him praise and glory.
