Urgent Prayer letter

Dear Prayer Partners,

It is with great sadness and a multitude of emotions that I ask prayer
for a situation. I received this communication tonight and would ask
that you please be in prayer for Pastor José Pelayo and especially his
eldest daughter Alejandra. I worked with José and his family in Mexico
for several years and his family is precious to us. Below is the
message that I received and then I will give just a ruff summary
translation as the hour is late, I'm exhausted, and now emotionally
distraught. If you are able to read Spanish, please forgive his
misspellings as he is also very emotional and just wanted to get the
message out quickly.

"Amados hermanos, disculpen la molestia, le pido por favor que nos
apoye en oración por una cituacion un poco grave con nuestra hija
Alejandra. Ella y otra jovencita fueron agredidas ficicamente por unas
personas que trataron de llevarselas, ellas estan golpeadas fica y muy
lastimadas emocionalmente, necesitamos pasar a Gudalajara para verla y
si es posible y necesario traerlas para con nosotros para atenderla,
rogamos de su apoyo y oraciones, gracias hermano. que Dios le bendiga.

His daughter was attacked and beat up, along with another young lady,
during an attempted kidnapping. He is going to travel to Guadalajara
to take care of her and see if they need to bring her back up to this
area. He is asking for prayer support.

It is an extremely dangerous trip, as they will have to drive through
some of the most violent areas of Mexico, twice. I don't have any
other details, but I can only praise God that she is alive and was
able to escape. Please pray as you are led.
