Sportsman's Banquet

Thank you all for your prayers for the Sportsman's Banquet.  I believe that it was a great success in several different ways.  We were able to build relationships with several key business owners in the community.  We had about 40 people show up that were not members of the church, which by the way is about double our church membership.  Paul Brand brought a great message, using hunting and fishing illustrations, and tied it all together presenting the gospel of Jesus Christ.  One person prayed to receive the salvation of Jesus, five people prayed to recommit their lives to Christ, and one person want to be contacted to know more about the church.  We still have much work ahead of us in the coming days and weeks, to make all the follow-up contacts.  Please continue to pray for those who were here, for those who heard the gospel and did not make a decision, for those who do not have a church home.
