Survey Trips

Thank you all for your prayers concerning our survey trips into Mexico
to scout out areas needing churches. This past Sunday, by divine
appointment, a man, Ramon, walked into our church in Eagle Pass, who
was in town visiting his aunt. He lives in Nava, in one of the areas
that we had previously visited and determined would be a good place
for a church plant. As we talked, it became clear that God had
brought us together for a purpose. I am praying that Ramon will be
instrumental in helping us to get a church started in his colonia in
Nava.

On Thursday, we went back into Mexico to continue our survey of
Northern Coahuila. Along the way, we sought out and found Ramon and
had a very good visit with him. I believe that God is giving us an
open door to plant a new church in Nava. Please pray with us for
God's direction and wisdom.

As we continued our survey, we found a community near Zaragoza that
does not have a church. So far, we have found four areas that need a
church plant. In a few weeks, we plan to begin evangelistic efforts
in these areas praying that God will direct and lead us to men who
will accept us into the community and give us an open door.

Begin praying now that God will work in the hearts of the people in
these communities, to prepare them, so that they will be receptive to
the gospel when we arrive.
