As the year comes to a close, I would like to thank everyone for their
continued prayers for us and for our ministry. This has been a
wonderful year and we are excited about what God has accomplished and
what he is going to accomplish this coming year.
It has been an awesome privilege to see God working in and changing
peoples' lives: To see souls saved, to see spiritual growth, and to
see deeper commitments to the Lord. It is a blessing to see men to
begin preaching, studying God's word, and becoming spiritual leaders
in their families as well as at church.
We praise God for continued opportunities for service on both sides of
the river. We have surveyed several new areas for starting works in
Mexico, and plan to begin this coming year. Please pray for God to
raise up labourers for the harvest. There is much more work to be
done than we can do alone. We have initiated several strategic
partnerships for mission trips and we praise God for them. However we
are in great need of "resident" missionaries to be continual witnesses
in the communities and workers in the churches. We have distributed
gospel literature and discipleship materials, witnessed the hope of
Christ, assisted local churches, led mission teams on short term
trips, and yet it seems as though our efforts are minimal in
comparison to the work the needs to be done.
Iglesia Bautista Victoria in Nava, Coahuila, Mexico has been
ministering in Nueva Rosita, about an hour south of Nava. The pastor,
Jose Pelayo, his family and several other families in the church drive
down twice a month and hold worship services. This is very costly for
them and their lack of a continual presence hinders their efforts.
Pray for Iglesia Bautista Victoria and for their mission work in Nueva
Rosita.
Continue to pray for Br. Garza and Br. David as they serve in Guerrero
with Iglesia Bautista El Faro. Pray for Br. Adrian Jaquez and Iglesia
Bautista El Mesias in Zaragoza.
Pray for the various children's homes: Casa Hogar Embajadores de
Cristo, Casa Hogar Bethesda, Casa Hogar Ninos de Piedras Negras, and
Casa Hogar Getsemani.
Grateful for your prayers,
Daniel White Family
