The 1921 play that created the word "Robot"!
When a group of scientists and engineers create droves of robots to do
all the tasks that humans don't want to do, they think they've solved
the world's problems. Until the robots decide they don't like doing
any of that crap either!
A novel idea! Czech playwright Karel Capek gave the world the idea of
Robots. He also added that word into the lexicon for all time. This
play introduced the world to the idea of man-made intelligent beings
back in 1921.
Now in a new, cutting-edge translation, Commedia Beauregard presents
the play that confronts the morality of humanity and its technology.
This darkly comedic play gave birth to an entire genre of
entertainment. Come see where it all began.
Starring Michael Ooms, Sasha Walloch, and Michael Bruckmueller.
In order to share this Sci-Fi classic with other members of MISFITS
