I didn't see a topic for this, so I've taken what might be a liberty
and started a new one.

I plan on being there, if it happens; I've been in the building
itself, and I'd be interested in looking over the space.

yours, Chirine

Fair 'nuff; thank you for starting up this thread.

As said before, I plan on being there.

Is there a way to get this posted or otherwise made known to the GPS
in general? ...thier facebook page? ...mainpage? ...? -or is the
intention of this meeting to be mostly/exclusively an 'insider' thing?

Don,

I'm on the GPS Web team.  I'll put the notice up, myself, on the Home page of GPS.

Yours,
Dave

I'm getting e-mail traffic on this subject, which doesn't seem to be
appearing as postings to this group. Is there a reason for this, or is
it just one of those Google things?

yours, Chirine

Might be a Google thing...

Thanks! I don't know much about how Google Groups work, being a simple
miniatures guy... :)

Well, I suppose it could also be people hitting "reply all" and then selectively removing the google group from the list which would explain why you are getting some emails that are not showing up on the general list...

Dave

Be wiser to those doing that to remove the people and hit the google group.

Why?
Archive.
In case a mail was missing the groups will at least save it.

(I know there might be some who think its more personal to hit the
people up, but honestly... it might be better to have a archive.
If a mail is missing, they can see said archive. Be it deleted by a
over zealous anti-spam feature, or anti-spam user, or any number of
errors.)

But I think your right some might be doing that.
Had a 'chef' groups I was helping organize, and some did exactly that.
Mainly because they did not understand what the group was... and
seemed resistant to try and understand.... long story.
