I have booked some tables at The Source for Sunday September 13th
12noon to 6pm

One is the sand table for a miniature game that I shall be
organizing.I have booked additional space for someone else to organize
something else.

Now I want to grow this club but I am going to need your help.

I would like to know both what types of games you would like to see
run at Misfits of Gaming?

I will also need to know if any of you will be prepared to run of
referee any game and if so what type?

I will continue to book The Source on the Second Sunday of the Month,
but do we need additional venues?
Tower Games in Minneapolis and Village Games in Anoka will also host
us if we ask. So are any of you willing to get some gaming organized
in these venues?

As a newish member of the group (attended CVG, heard about this group), I can chime in with some things that I would like.

The thing I would like to see most is a way for gamers to connect with one another - RPGs, tabletops, card games, etc. For example, say I was running a tactics-heavy 4e D&D game, but my gaming group was wanting to do some system-light psychological horror. I'd like a place (possibly this mailing list?) where I could put up essentially a "players wanted" ad and get in touch with interested parties. This could also work for players; say I was really in to some of the White Wolf lines and none of my friends were. I could send an e-mail to see if other gamers were interested in getting a game going.

Those are my ideas!

Great - I'm a big fan of CoC and either the old or new WoD system.
We can keep track of players wanted in a file on Google groups. Sorry I don't know this system as well as Yahoo.

Getting more people involved is why I wanted to get involved with this cub.

I'd love to play more D&D 3.5. Transportation is an issue so maybe we could find someone I could car pool with? I live in Hopkins near 169 and Hwy 7.

I would love to play in just about any game, or run/host some games. However, my commitment as a performer at the MN Renaissance Festival means I cannot do anything until after the end of the run.

I am most interested in Old WoD, Exalted, and Magic. I don't
know what my schedule will be during school, but I would love
to come to a game as long as it is afternoon instead of evening.

Looks like there is some demand for D&D 3.5.

Is there someone who would consider starting a campaign?

I've not played D&D in years and 3.5 missed me all together, but I can
sort out space and venues if we can find a DM willing to start
something.
