Hi everyone ,

Quick personal note about something I finished this month, in case it's your kind of thing:

I rebuilt the Austrian economics library I first put online in 2009 as the Mises Institute's webmaster. It's at freecapitalists.org: 947 books, 3,374 journal issues across 18 periodicals, 165 lecture courses running 1,520 hours, and 320 authors indexed. Mises, Rothbard, Hayek, Hazlitt, Bastiat, and most of what surrounds them. Free to read, free to download, no signup and no ads.

The other half is the forum. The old Mises Community board ran from 2007 to 2013 and has been frozen ever since. On 20 August I moved all of it onto modern software and reopened it for posting: roughly 400,000 posts in 26,000 topics by 16,000 people, every account and username intact. That's forum.freecapitalists.org.

Two things I'd like from you:

  1. Log in to the forum and post something. If you had an account on the old board it's still there under your username — "forgot password" gets you back in. If not, signing up takes a minute.
  2. Look at the library and tell me what's missing. You'll find gaps faster than I will.

David
