Interior Design for healthcare related projects (hospitals,
cancer centers, medical centers, etc.). Independently evaluates,
selects and applies interior design concepts. Assignments have
specified objectives and require the investigation of many
alternatives. Independently performs design assignments with
only general instruction from the Project Architect or Project
Manager as to the results expected. Experienced in selecting
interior details, materials, color selections, furniture and
furnishings selections, lighting design, space planning, and
detailing. Coordinates work with other disciplines. Creates
free-hand sketch renderings. Writes specifications covering
interior design matters, performs code reviews. May be assisted
by other Interior Designers or technicians and is responsible for
work in all phases of the interior design

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Interior Architecture or Interior
Design. 8+ years experience in healthcare related projects.
Illinois registered desired. Strong communication skills and
experience working on large project teams. Knowledge of
Microstation or AutoCAD and Photoshop required. Experience with
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project Schedule,
etc.).<br>Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED
desired but not required.
