Did you ever consider that your cat has seen the unequal treatment she
receives as compared to what the dog receives from the proletariot masters
of the household and thinks that it's unfair and would like to see a society
where dogs and cats are equals in the eyes of the state. Did you?

Teach her a new word. "Bush". Then she'll be a moron.

But is she saying kind things about Mao? My own cats have used the word
extensively in their worst cussing sprees.

Of course. That's why I so enjoy kicking her outside. The truth is,
the dog earns so much more than her because he is worth more. This
rankles deep within her feline soul. She resents the dog because he
returns value for his dogness and is compensated; she resents herself
for being little more than a ... cat. Oh, her instincts to suck up to
authority overcome her at times. She will bring a lizard (bad move), or
ostentatiously devour a bird in view of the house, no doubt hoping her
prowess as a warrior will earn her a higher rank. But it's to no
avail. We know what we value. Unless she works hard to integrate
herself into the world as it is and gives up the hopeless quest to
remake the world in the utopian form she erroneously thinks will benefit
everyone (especially herself), she will remain at the fringe, plotting
and pretending, her purrs never taken seriously.

The cat, apparently deciding that she was above mere boot-licking,
having settled on remaining a vertebrate (an animal with a spine),
sought approval on her own terms, and, receiving only scorn from her
housemates for her efforts, pissed in the Hippolyte Lizard's Cheerios.

All three of my cats speak the same language and seemingly revere Mao. That
is, until it comes to the food dish.

My oldest cat blames Mao when the food dish is empty.

Impossible. I do not allow Communists near my Cheerios.
