no objective person could possibly miss how much the media hates
Hillary.
i've been watching the "election" coverage for the last year or so --
just to keep up with all of the shared myths, if nothing else.
i'd list the amazing amount of dishonest commentary from both sides of
the aisle about Hillary, but it would take too long and i'm too lazy
to bother at this particular minute -- besides, anyone who hasn't seen
it for themselves isn't worth "convincing".
i've got my own problems with Hillary, but then again, i've got
problems with every single candidate, as usual.
they all majorly suck in my opinion.
but Hillary doesn't suck any more significantly than any of the rest
of them.
the against-Hillary coverage in many many cases has gone well beyond
mere partisan spin and has degenerated into outright lies and malice.
so does anyone have the inside scoop?
or even a guess?
why does the media hate Hillary?
or is it just yet another level of deception?
...
perhaps they're angry that she was so cocky early on?
or is there truly a vast right-wing conspiracy against a woman
becoming president?

Men tend not to like smart, logical, controlling women unless they
also find them sexually alluring. This Clinton doesn't play by
seduction. She plays by trying to marshal evidence and logical plans.
People don't vote based on reason, so her confronting them with it

that particular one because i have the sense that despite her
connections to the status quo she really would change things for the

that Hillary is the best possible candidate for president among all

A few of us feel that the Clintons are poll followers and Republicrats
and a bit seedy (though nothing like what the GOP smearmeisters claim)
and that the Republicans made mincemeat of them last time around.
Obama's slick, and the public seems to like charismatic presidents
more than it likes good ones -- which isn't to say that he wouldn't be
good. Edwards seems to be the most solid candidate and the one who's
saying the right thing, but his hair is funny, so he's going to lose.
Still, Bill Clinton was a decent president overall, the best we've had
since JFK (kind of sad, that), and there's no reason to suppose that
Hillary Clinton will be much different. Any of the three would be
good, and better than any of the Republicans. And any of the
Republicans would be better than Bush. Giuliani is, I think, far and
away the most capable of the Republicans in a the trains run on time
kind of way. But he's had to compromise his moderate positions to
appeal to the radical Republican right, and I don't think he's the
right man for the job right now, when the country is so desperately in
need of a liberal phase.
