it's knowing that the only real difference between
being "indoors" and being "outdoors" is that the former
is nothing but an elaborately constructed domesticated
illusion of modern "civilization" which is so utterly
convincing and thoroughly ingrained in our collective
subconscious that we as a species have absolutely totally
forgotten that being "indoors" and being "outdoors"
are both exactly identical places to be.
(except when it's snowing).
