it's the fun.

the post-it notes.

the graffiti on your wall.

...

it's your wit with telemarketers.

(and traffic cops).

...

it's taking a walk with a friend.

it's brainstorming your newest idea.

...

it's grocery shopping.

it's making sandwiches.

...

it's watching a movie.

with the sound off.

and your favorite music.

on full blast.

...

it's dancing.

...

in a park.

playing Frisbee.

flying a kite.

without any string.

I actually had fun at work today. Despite the fact I had to work on
Memorial Day.

All I wrote was SQL, which you might not appreciate.

i love SQL.

as much as it can be loved, anyway.

computer programming is another of my many fortes.

actually, i love what SQL can do more than the language itself.

databases are so cool.

spreadsheets, too.

not to mention object-oriented drawing.

and painting.

I don't love SQL. It's not beautiful, its features don't tend to be
orthogonal, it's not succinct, I can hardly do anything without
database specific extensions...

But that makes expressing myself in it an interesting (sometimes)
puzzle.
