The Fiction Writers Boot Camp
July 9-15 2001

This intensive one-week workshop is designed to give you what you need to know
to get that novel published. In the first sessions, we cover everything from
the basics of plot and character to self-editing to manuscript preparation. In
the second half of the week, we have agents and professional editors review
your manuscript, cover and query letters and plot synopses. These sessions will
also include the pros and cons of self-publishing and internet publishing.
Please note: This is an intense mentoring program. You don’t have to be
published, but you do have to be serious about writing and getting published.
The fact that we can accept no more than 30 applicants for this session insures
that you will get one-on-one attention advice and some real-world information
from publishing veterans. Can a workshop turn you from an amateur to a
professional writer in one week? Only if you want it enough!

Creative Alchemy
July 26-29, 2001 and August 17-20

In this unique workshop, we explore the idea that the ancient art of Alchemy is
more than a metaphor for spiritual Transformation. The magic of Alchemy is in
Application. This 4-day workshop will examine, through individual and group
sessions how the principles of Jungian psychology, Western astrology, and dream
symbolism can all be used to discover and connect to the source of true
creative inspiration. We teach that your impulse to create is not an
accidental, but an essential component of your life experience. The Spiritual
power that exists within each of us is meant to be directed and applied. Based
upon the principles explored in the upcoming book, The Alchemist’s Way,
participants will learn how larger forces shape each of our lives. Once the
map of an individual’s destiny is discovered, creative power can be directed
and expressed. Alchemy can heal not only the Self, but the world. Join us for a
truly Transformative view of how individual Art is the highest and most
beautiful expression of Life.
