I don't smell like popcorn, you do

Sometimes when I pull back the curtain and
expose the psyche of an individual, they try
ever so hard to claim that, no, it isn't true.
That I'm projecting traits of mine on to them.

This is their defense mechanism. Denial. And,
of course, filtering reality to protect the unfaceable
truth about themselves.

But when I see an individual, constantly day
after day, describing human behaviors which
the are compelled to complain about, and
over and over droning on about the multiple
flaws in these other people, then their pattern
of projection is obvious.

Such is the latest person I've outed. He is
such a projectionist, he should work upstairs
at the Movie Show. And, this...is why he
smells like popcorn.
