remember when the world was new?

and you looked ahead
at all its mysteries
with beautiful wonder?

and you ran
and laughed
and sang

and danced...

...

you "argued" about this and that...

but it was all in good fun.

then you discovered greed.

and fear.

not the fun fear.

the other kind.

the stupid kind.

it was fear brought about by the greedy.

material greed.

idea greed.

thought greed.

...

the thing about the greedy is that they're never satisfied.

they're too fucking stupidly greedy.

...

anyway...

the world _is_ new.

it's still full of wonderful mysteries.

...

run.

laugh.

sing.

dance.

...

meanwhile, the greedy will eat themselves.

because their world is old.

dreadfully old.

and fearful.

...

run where the mysterious winds blow.

where the trees shake their leaves.

where your fears are good fears.

run.

dance.

argue.

I think that was pretty early. As soon as you know what hunger is, and
being full, you know about greed. And fear goes with it. I doubt
anyone has earlier memories because their neurons weren't organized
yet.

i disagree.

greed goes well beyond the healthy feelings of hunger being full.

> And fear goes with it.

again, i wasn't talking about healthy fear, there.

It will all happen again for you as you get older. You'll be making
new friends, every day, over and over again.

Maybe so, but I didn't say greed equals hunger or being full. So
you're not disagreeing with me.

you said that once one has feelings of being
hungry and being full one knows greed.

it was implied.

> So you're not disagreeing with me.

yes i am.

to wit:

"greed goes well beyond the healthy

feelings of hunger and being full."

you've expressed your feelings about greed many times.

the implications i drew from your response was based on those.

Greed is wanting more once you're full. So once you've experience
hunger and satiety, you're most likely acquainted with it.

greed is wanting way more than you can ever possibly eat.

just to be an asshole.

greed is wanting way more than you deserve.

just to be a greedy asshole.
