Does anyone know the actual date in 1957 that the last cable tram
line in Dunedin, New Zealand ended service? I think it was the
Mornington Tramway.

There is a new timeline on the San Francisco Friends of the
Cable Car Museum website (http://www.cablecarmuseum.com/)
and they want to list the date that the last Hallidie-type
cable line outside of San Francisco stopped running.

It was the Mornington line and it closed on the 2nd of March 1957.
The Maryhill line closed on the 29th of October 1955.
