This is wonderful news. With views of the Castle and Old Town, the
route along Princes St may be one of the world most scenic light rail
journeys. I look forward.

The plan always was to have track laid in Prices Street for June 2009.
So despite the setbacks we are still on schedule.

Hmm. There's about 100yds of track in place. The base slab seems to be
there for another few hundred yards.

What's your definition of "on schedule"? The tram company have adverts in
the press this week looking for contractors to move the utilities in the
Leith Docks area - that is work that was scheduled to be completed in 2008!
