Basically all im looking for is a company that I can drive for that
I can do the speed limmit in most states! Any company recomendations
here?
Look around for smaller companies. Little company I worked for last had
very few trucks that could not do 70 or better.
But if you're looking for a hispeed concrete truck, don't count on it.
As they were not designed for it to begin with.
Go to work hauling livestock. They don't seem to have any problems
achieving insane speeds. Most companies now have their trucks neutered
for insurance reasons. A lot of companies also have a maximum speed
you can log so even if you could find a way around the speed limiter
you might run afoul of the safety dept.. I've been told by other
drivers that our max log speed is 54MPH avg.. Also the majority of
fleet trucks have computer or satellite , or both onboard recorders.
Don't forget......big brother is watching you.

My fastest truck to date could do 78 mph but it took forever to get there.
When that truck broke down I asked to drive a cabover and then decided to
stay with the cabover even though it was 3 mph slower.
BTW I heard someone on the CB telling people his truck was turned down to
59 right before Ohio raised their speed limit. Ouch.
The first trucking company I drove for had their trucks set between 62mph
and 64 mph but after I left then they started giving people 70 mph trucks.
But when they did that I had a 75 mph truck.
The second trucking company I drove for had their trucks set between 73 mph
and 78 mph but now they are all turned down to about 67 mph.
The third and last trucking company is a sub 70mph but I've learned to live
with it after having to deal with a 62 mph truck.

Not much, in WY and places like it.
> a truck should be able to
> do the speed limmit in every state.
Why...?
> The concrete truck I drive every
> day has been up to 75 when empty and quickly backed down to 65.
Try developing more regard for your safety and that of others.
Concrete trucks are among the least stable of all vehicles at speed.

You should probably be looking instead for a company that offers the
greatest earning potential/stability/quality of life and adjusting to
trucking as it is in the current and foreseeable economic/employment
climate, or leasing your own rig.
Or, I'll buy a fucking 450hp truck and let you go as fast as it'll go,
$0.50/mile, you pay for insurance, fuel, tires, brakes and never shut
the motherfucker off if turning the key is too much trouble.
