I was going to reply to your post on the thread where you posted, until I
saw you were feeding "that darn Troll" (title from that darn Cat).
This is the third time I've told you to stop feeding that Troll and yet you
continue feeding your buddy. Have you ever heard "You are known by the
company you keep?" Well you are known by the company you keep.

As for the "belly strap" bbelly also used the term "that 'over/under strap'
and I'll get to what he means there.
For the sake of the argument I will say there are only ratchets on one side
of the flatbed since it was like that at MANSUR.
Now lets say you only have one level of greasy steel bars to load on a
flatbed. Besides the front and rear bulkheads you lay down one or more
straps with the hook on the side with the ratchets. Once the load is put on
the truck, you throw the hook over the load to the side without the
ratchets. Then with the other side of the strap, you throw that over the
load the other way, to the side with the ratchets so you end up going around
all the steel rods. The strap goes twice over and once under in the above
instance.
That particular strap can not be counted as a strap for holding down the
load. You have to add those straps too.
So the strap that is wrapped around the load is called a "Belly Strap"
probably because the easiest way to put it on the load is to put it on the
belly of the flatbed first. Duh.
I've been through many arguments like this on this newsgroup. Sometimes it
takes a while before I find support and it took me about 3.5 years before
bbelly supported that "belly strap."

That's not the ONLY definition of belly strapping, but read on...
What you describe is a method of what is known as "BELLY WRAPPING".

They do in fact count, because the prevent both side to side and forward to
read movement when they are tightened.

Never in my life have I heard such an ignorant explanation for something.
First of all, because I've never heard of the FLOOR of the trailer referred
to as the "belly" of the trailer. Belly dump trailers have bellies, but
they are shaped like bellies too.
But let's go to a source of some REALLY good information on this to clear
it all up.
It's Australian in nature, but the terminology is absolutely on target, and
there are very good images to boot.

Belly strapping is performed to secure layers of a load as it is loaded
when they extend to the width of the trailer. Belly wrapping is used to
secure rounded bundles or loads that do not span the width of the entire
trailer.
But you know what? I'm gonna give you credit anyway, because no one really
uses the term "wrapping" in America. Both methods are routinely defined as
"belly strapping".
BUT they are not called that because the strap is laid on the "belly" of
the trailer first.

Sorry. I don't buy it. And he's been rather mum on the subject. And
besides, when it comes down to brass tacks, I don't know a soul in here, or
track who's who. I happen to believe that Shawn is a real and impartial
person, but he's no fan of yours, so your photo of two trucks sitting side
by side in a deserted lot (which gives me the willies to think about) and a
one time post is still not proof that you are bonafied as a driver.

although the proof may have been somewhat lacking PRIOR to your trial,

Well, if you want to do anything about the Trolls on this NG the best way to
get rid of them is to ignore them. I tried to ignore realitytrucker a long

Actually Shawn tried to say something a few times and the last time he did
Doug snapped at him.
Besides, there are other things said here and there in his post that prove
we have met 3 times.

Do you need to see the permits for that 100 foot load too? I have scanned
them in to a computer and if you want me to put them on the internet I will.

Oh but there is another similarities that you missed that point to the
enormous amount of bullshit I've had to deal with in both areas months
before I ever fought back..
I'm not going to rehash everything here, but I will say, even though you
want to call winning the jury trial "lucky" if there had been a recording of
the trial instead of a transcript prepared by friends of Beverly things
would have been different at the Appellate Court.

It is funny that all the exhibits I used in court were consistant with a
woman using outright lies in the courthouse with the exception of the
transcript prepared by Diane Reason.
1. In Real Life there was a detailed description of the alleged phone call
that would have proven perjury because Beverly changed her testimony later.
2. In Real Life there were questions asked to Beverly that shot down the
"Opening Remarks." This would have helped to prove a "Total Lack of Good
Faith" by the prosecution.
3. In Real Life my "Closing Remarks" were based on my exhibits and I only
made one statement about the alleged phone call and that was "what they say
happened did not happen."
The transcript makes it look like I made numberous statements about the
alleged phone call in the "Closing Remarks" but the truth is I used those
statements when I tried to get my phone bill entered as evidence and that
was in the middle of the trial and not at the end.
The reason I didn't do what the Transcript has me down for is in the
"Closing Remarks" is I would have opened a door for Casey Stengel to attack
me in his closing remarks. As it was Casey Stengel was not given anything
to reply to so he didn't! The fact he didn't attack my closing remarks when
he could have, if I had done things the way the Transcript makes it look,
also helps to show that the transcript was tainted by the buddy system at
the courthouse.
As with Beverly. The way I really won that case was to show I would have
won the first charges they brought against me if I wanted to. Plus, I
introduced evidence they let slide over their heads back like she invited me
over for dinner and the State should not have been allowed to bring charges
against me the first time because of that!
The jury was correct and if I could do it again, I would win again and win
again and win again. You call it lucky when I could repeat the exact same
results over and over and over! HA. If only I had been allowed to present
the exact same exhibits in the "Malicious Prosecution" lawsuit, things could
have been different. We might find out about that, since I know of a party
that is willing to look at the exhibits stricken from the "Malicious
Prosecution" lawsuit to see if someone used malice and concealed evidence.

On this NG I've been frustrated after calling a "belly strap" a "belly
strap" for years. It wasn't until bbelly finally came forward and said that

after posting "belly strap."
And before that I was accused of "defending Richard" just because of
something Dave Ruff would recant over a year later!

I'm not going to point fingers at anyone. I'm as guilty as anyone is, of
perpetuating crap that should have died a long time ago. I will no
longer be participating in such crap. It needs to die. I'll be the first
to refrain from making snide comments towards ANYONE that does not truly
deserve it, and especially over ancient issues.

Okay, let's drop the "troll" term altogether. What all of this is, is
bantering back and forth over stuff that really doesn't matter.
There's lots of things that we can discuss in here, without it resorting
to a complete out-of-control melee all the time.
It all starts with ignoring negative comments. Someone has to start. If
pain cannot be inflicted, there will be no purpose in trying any longer.
Everyone and anyone will eventually give up trying to get a response,
when it no longer works.
We're all adults.

See how easy that was? Concentrate on the good, and ignore the bad. I
think if you REALLY try to do this, you'll find that the good will
increase, a little each day.

Let me put it in simple terms. We all make mistakes. I wasn't sure that
my understanding was correct when I jumped in on that one, and I said
so. Whenever I goof, I immediately fess up and apologize for it.
Scott kindly pointed out one word that I failed to read yesterday that
totally made my offer a goof, and he was kind in pointing it out, and I
admitted my goof. No harm, no foul.
We ALL need to take a lesson from that. That's how adults handle the
situation. No one gets their feelings hurt, and no blood is drawn in the
process. And better, the truth comes out in the process.

Quit worrying about the past. It cannot be changed, nor does it really
matter. What matters is how we go forward to put history in it's
place...behind us.

It's ancient history Roger. I've pleaded with you to let it go, and you
really need to do it. Nothing is going to be changed if you dredge it
all back up. That's life sometimes.
I can think of wrongs that have occurred to me, and I couldn't fix them
or make people atone for what they did to me. One issue in my life had
me seething for years, but I knew that the only way to deal with it,
because it was over, was to bury it. That person got what they deserved
in the end, even though it wasn't at my hand.
You fight the fights you can win. Sometimes retreating is the best
course of action, and that will always be the case when there is no hope
whatsoever that winning is not going to take place.

It's over. We all know you haven't been trucking your entire life. I
know people who have been out there for years, and they are as ignorant
as it gets. A little thing like this is not a big deal.

"wrapping" in America. Both methods are routinely defined as "belly
strapping" because it helps prove I was close enough to right on June 17,

I wanted you to look at why the "Mack" case was "Reversed and Remanded" too

If what they had said at the Appellate Court were true, there would have

Why shouldn't I? It isn't every time that a pro-se litigant wins a big case
where the woman bringing charges worked one floor down at the exact same

Dang, I'll probably be laughing about that for weeks. Here, let me put it
this way. If there was any truth what you stated above there would have
been no way I could have won that jury trial with a "Unanimous Decision" and
that is exactly what I did.
The main mistakes the State made were they didn't know exactly what was in
the "Report of Proceedings" that would impeach Cheryl and they thought they
could win the trial with tricks they used during the "Closing Remarks" in my
first jury trial. HA HA HA.
Their tricks didn't work in the second jury trial because I was ready for

to ask my Jury before the jury trial I won?
Was it luck that I learned about preventing the prosecuting attorney from
prejudicing the jury in the closing remarks when I was working on my first
Appeal?
Was it luck that I learned I had to posses the correct jury instructions
during my first Appeal?
Was it luck that I learned how to "Lay a Foundation" by asking an Attorney
how to enter evidence to prove someone is lying?
Was it luck that I was told by an Attorney how to how to get the State to
issue a Subpoena for me and that they do so twice?
Was it luck that I caught Beverly Rusk lying on the stand quite a few times
and one of those lies allowed me to enter the "Report of Proceedings" that
proved she lied in court before?
Was it luck that Beverly's daughter was completely impeached by the same
exhibit that impeached her and also undermined the "Opening Remarks?"
I will give you one thing out of everything that happened leading up to the
jury trial that I won that I could classify as "luck" and it was having a
"Police Report" that proved Beverly and Ed Rusk lied to "Police Officers" to
turn an invitation to Dinner into "Criminal Trespassing."

WRONG. The truth is that you have never been issued a CDL, and you have
never driven a truck for a living. You have an Illinois operator's
license, which only qualifies you to drive an automobile and a
motorcyle.
This is an easily disprovable fact, if you could disprove it, but you
can't.
