STL RUNL is $2.42 on the Missouri side, don't know about the IL side.
Nothing over $3 since a year ago.

It is between $2.50 and $2.60 here in the Twin Cities. It is always
about a dime or two higher across the river in Wisconsin. You can
check out the prices at www.twincitiesgasprices.com.

$2.499 in Madison, WI. It has been dropping over the past couple
weeks. Good brewpub, Ale Asylum, not far off the Interstate for your
drinking needs.

The price at my corner station (metro Detroit) has recently dropped to
$2.499. This station generally has one of the lowest prices I see in
the area, with no surcharge for credit.

It has been as high as $2.799 (for just a couple of days) over the
last month or two.

Best place to check prices is AAA. You don't have to be a member to
access their info.

The Cartel tried 2.79 around IL suburbs, no dice. I got 9.699 gallons
for $26.66..a fundie freakout.

It's been coming down in much of the Midwest lately; as recently as two
weeks ago, it seemed $2.69 was the norm. Now, I'm seeing prices around
southeast Michigan pop up in the high $2.40s, and you'll likely
encounter lower than that on your Chicago to Toledo run.

I recommend either Gary, IN, or Perrysburg, OH (Turnpike and I-280) as
some of the cheapest places to find gas, as a general rule.

Depending where you go in Arkansas, it's $2.39 to $2.69. Larger towns like Ft
Smith are averaging $2.45 to $2.55 (a couple Cash Only stations are $2.39)
Outlying communities I've seen as high as $2.69.

I've got to gas up today, so I'll double check the latest numbers.

It's been in the $2.40-$2.50 range here in Omaha, and its always
cheaper in Council Bluffs across the river. On the other hand, I
haven't had to get gas for a week, so I might be wrong about that.
