who wants the traffic from the portals, there Doug?
you do realize any road in the City of Baltimore costs the City 20%
and the state nothing
where does that come from?
and you realize there is a huge push for federal moeny for a RAIL
tunnel to bypass all of Balt as it is a huge bottleneck for CSX
short statement: a vehicular tunnel in the ciy of Balt ain't ever
going to happen
Combining the two- new underground freeway link with improved
underground rail makes too much sense not to consider.
Douglas Willinger
A Trip Within the Beltway
fine, you have no idea how interstate hwys are funded in MD, in the
City of Baltimore.
Baltimore is responsible for the 20% that normally would be the
state's portion
Lets assume $500Million, 20%=$100million that is about the whole
budget for
Balt City DOT
now are you still with me?
The planing would be done by the Balt DOT and there has been none,
further there is no push for this I am aware if
you would have to start with the Balt Planning Commison and they would
have to put it in the Capital Improvement Program
please have at it and please keep us posted
iow, rots of ruck

You'll have to excuse the rancid one. Any project outside of his
precious newark is unworthy in his eyes.
RC
you are the one speaking well outside your frame of reference
do you even know where the Baltimore Planning Office is?
if not shut the fuck up
why before you run off at the mouth do you not download the Baltimore
Capital Improvement Program
http://www.baltimorecity.gov/Government/AgenciesDepartments/Planning/CapitalImprovementProjects.aspx
have at it
see what you fail to comprehend in your little useless mind is any
road in the City of
Baltimore is built and financed by the City of Baltimore DOT
NOT the MD State Hwy Adm
can you possibly comprehend that or do you need further explanation
> you are the one speaking well outside your frame of reference
Atleast I have one as opposed to you and your delusions and
obsessions.
> do you even know where the Baltimore Planning Office is?

Do you know where West Market Street is?

And further upstream in this thread, you state that BCDOT would be
responsible for 20% of the funding for the tunnel project. So where
does the other 80% come from, you fucking idiot? Federal government
maybe? WHich would make the project unworthy in your eyes so long as
the roads in your precious fucking newark are not paved in gold for
your tax cheating hack.

To be fair, Randy has a point here. Doesn't matter if the Feds would
kick in 80% or not. 30 years ago, the I-83 connection to I-95 was
cancelled in large part because Baltimore could not afford their
then-10% share. It's not a longshot to think that the same would hold
true today if Willinger's I-83 tunnel pipe-dream were to be
considered.

dip wad, where did I say anything is unworthy?
those are your words, not mine
you can babble all you want, and you are really good at babbling
as long as Baltimore City has to come up with 20% it ain't happening
and if you followed along, Balt City does not want hwys in any form
they want the Red Line Light rail
so run along and grab mammy's apron
she wants her computer back little boy

Says the man who when he runs out of things to say(due to lack of intelligence/dementia) starts dribbling about the blacks in Newark.
talk about introducing babble
lets see if you live long enough, 50 yrs for the completion of pure
pork Corr H
and I really do not understand what you interest in Corr H is
maybe has to do with the stupidity and pork loving of dum dum elkins
80-25, what is the traffic? not much, more pork
regardless, they are going to have to toll
once they do that and use THEIR money, I really don't care
what else there babbling slater?
I am curious there babbler, what is your suggestion for more revenue
for NYSDOT?
that would seem to me closer to home then the pure pork Corr H
but I guess dum dum elkins has to be appeased by you, righto

http://blog.nj.com/njv_joan_whitlow/2011/01/in_an_instant_safe_turf_become.html
In an instant, safe turf becomes dangerous ground
The school bus that was caught up in a shooting Tuesday in Newark was
not in the wrong place at the wrong time. That bus was right where it
was supposed to be, with three kids remaining to take home after a day
at Dayton Street Elementary School.
hilarious don't you think?
and not one bit ot
> Corridor H in WV. The Interstate 80-Interstate 25 junction works in

In other words, any federally funded project outside of Newark and as such
doesn't benefit his racist tax cheating ass.
> talk about introducing babble
Like you babble in your Ripple.
> and I really do not understand what you interest in Corr H is
What's the rason for your interest in Corr H besides that it won't benefit
you?
> once they do that and use THEIR money, I really don't care
And they aren't using your money either, you leach, so STFU.
> what else there babbling slater?
What are you babbling in now, MD 20/20?

How about Baltimore cancelling their participation in the criminal
mercantilist (pharma-alcohol-cigarette market protection rackett)?
That would save some $$$ that could be redirected.

No wonder why this "rshe" person does not use a real name. It just
wants to hijack the thread with its junk.

this is garbage
regardless, as long as the City of Baltimore is responsible for 20%
as well as the planning and construction
you are doing nothing but blowing smoke
this is the only tunnel that will possibly ever happen, and I wojuld
not bet on it
No- the drug 'laws' are garbage opening up all sorts of future civil
rights claims based upon say RICO-False Claims Act prosecutions for
such cigarette market protectionism.
Yes, a new rail tunnel is needed, all I am asking is consideration
that the project be multi-model and connect MLK Bvd with I-83.
understand it will be in the multiple billions, all hwy planning in
the City Of Baltimore has to start with the City of Baltimore dept of
Planning
20% of the funding comes from the city, not the state
you are willing to be the point man on this, have at it
I really hate it, though, that MLK sort of dies out in that area instead of
being better-connected to I-83. It makes it a pain to get from my house in
south Baltimore to 83.
Pete
a few things you may not know
Balt City has its own DOT, completely seperate from SHA
MD throws 15% of the state gas tax collection to Balt City and they
are expected to maintain every street and bridge in the City with that
money and fed money
as well any new const in the City the 20% that the federales don't pay
has to come from that 15%
also the JFX and Ft Mc Henry Tunnel were designed, constructed, and
the contracts let by what is now the Balt City DOT, not SHA
in short, it is extremely unlikely there will be any new const in the
city of Baltimore
as an aside will likely will be built is the Great Circle RR Tun
