Thanx
I'm not that familiar with the AA, but I know the speed limit is 55.

Shawn and I went Grayson to Cinci twice. The first time we took the AA both
ways and the second time we took US 23-32 there and the AA back. On both
roads we went about 10 above the limit (55 iirc); we were pulled over about
halfway down 32 but not at all on the AA.
The AA is also shorter, and unless you get stuck behind a truck (which there
are passing lanes for) it is faster. The only problems are the traffic
lights around Maysville.

I would reccomend using the AA Highway. There are tons of truck passing
lanes. There are some speed traps, but OH 32 also has a *TON* and you are
probably worse-off on that road.

Yeah, but they aren't half as bad as the lights on SR 32 just outside I-275.
As someone who drives from Huntington to Cincinnati frequently, I must
say it all depends on WHERE in Cincinnati you are going to. If you are
going to points north, say Paramount's Kings Island, SR 32 hands-down
(though I get there by taking 73 from US 23 to Portsmouth Road which
connects to 32). If, on the other hand, you are going to Northern
Kentucky (Florence, Covington, Burlington, the airport, etc), or to
downtown Cinci, you are much better off on the AA. The question at
that point becomes do you take the Greenup or Grayson spur? Or do you
go to Vanceburg and get on the old beginning? To me that is a point of
personal preference.
But you said you were coming from Cinci (itself?) going to I-77 to get
to NC. I then must say I would take the AA and the Grayson spur to
I-64.

It's a very good road, but the speed limit is 55 mph and you best not
do above 60. There have been a lot of fatal wrecks on the the highway
and, as a result, the police patrol it heavily.
>Is it the quickest from Cincy to Huntington?
>(OR SR 32 to US 23 south thru Portsmouth a better option)
Yes, I would recommend this route (the AA).
