WC SD45s 6581, 6589, 6591, 6596 and 6618 were delivered to BN today to
pay off horsepower hours owed by KCS, which is footing the rental bill. Five
more will be enroute later. WC board member Mike Haverty is the new prez
of KCS and is in good stead with WC prez Burkhardt. These locomotives
became available because...
ATSF F45s 5955, 5956, 5965 and 5981, delivered to WC about a month ago,
have entered service for their new owner (WC). 5965 and 5981 went to
Clearing, IL while 5955 and 5956 went to Milwaukee on T046-11. Figure the
5381 to be released soon.
ATSF 5345 re# to WC 6611 today.
WC coke train consist today: ATSF 5396/6573/6508/713

Plenty of Algoma Central units showing in Minneapolis, only 12 units
north of the border, many in such out of the way places as Mellen, WI;
Superior, WI; Manitowoc, WI; Minneapolis; Iron Mountain, MI; Chicago;
Milwaukee and switching local yards. (Out of the way for ACR units, that is.)
Those WCs going to BN will be system units on BN, look for them to lead
or tail in consist. Hope they don't get beat up like they do on SP.

We have already seen WC units here in Tulsa. There was a 6500? series atBN
BN's Cherokee Yd a few days ago. Not sure of the exact # as it was pretty
well blocked by other units. I did notice that it has nose headlights tho.
By any chance, could you post a WC roster? I dont have access to the web yet.
Thanks Dick Brundage richard....@bgbbs.com

Why are the AC units in Iron Mountain? I thought that only E&LS and UP/C&NW
operated in Iron Mountain?
