Is there a reason why the MTA and NJ Transit are so deathly allergic to
having special schedules for events or having somewhat decent access to
stadiums? The Meadowlands rail line can barely handle concerts and NFL
games, and things are gonna be extra bad if the most popular sporting
event on the planet can't even have serviceable train transit access.
Even if you had double-decker buses and ride-share, having 86,000+
people stranded at the most important soccer (football) game in the
world is a recipe for disaster and chaos.
