The pain scheme is not impressive at all, they should have kept the nice

Oh, I dunno, I think the 747-8's FF look is clean and fresh, and the
wavy stripe thing is just enough of an accent to avoid looking like they
forgot to paint it. The 787's FF paint job seemed sort of fussy and
unfocused by comparison.

[I personally hate the recent trend towards overly elaborate paint
schemes -- rampant use of gradients and fussy detailed images on the
tail, etc; it seems like painting technology has advanced faster than
the taste of those who use it... (any airlines with faux lens flare on
their tail...? :| ) ]
