I'm not sure if Co-terminalzation is the definition your looking for.
There is an industry practise called Co-terminal operation.
This is when a carrier splits utilzation on an aircraft that makes a stop
at two or more airports.

Example:
Asiana airlines presently has a a 747-400 freighter that operates out of
Seoul Korea. The routing is SEL/ANC/ORD/JFK/ANC/SEL.
Consider ANC is just a technical stop for fueling. The co-terminal
operation would be considered ORD/JFK because they both share space on the
same aircraft. ORD may have 10 ULD's offloaded there and also can load 10
Outbound ULD's.

When the aircraft arrives at JFK, JFK removes cargo destination JFK,
leaves on the ORD cargo destined to SEL and Then places on 20 outbound
ULD's of their own. This iswhat know as co-terminal.

I hope this helps.
