I'm a nonresident alien with an L1 work permit here in US. I'm checking the
W4 form and they say that I should declare SINGLE if my spouse is a
nonresident alien... I don't get it...Should I pay taxes here or no? Why I
should not consider my wife?

Thanks!

The W4 is not a tax return. It's a tool for your employer to use in
withholding the proper amount of tax. If your employer withheld at the married
rate, you'd probably be underwithheld at the end of the year. You should get a
copy of IRS publication 519, Tax Guide for Aliens, and read up on taxation of
nonresident aliens.
